Choose rooms
Open the app and tap the rooms where your announcement should be heard.

Your announcement is automatically played on the selected Sonos speakers.

HausFunk was designed from the ground up to keep your data at home. The app works entirely offline — no server, no cloud, no analytics tools, no tracking. Your voice goes directly from your phone to the speaker and is automatically deleted afterwards.
Requirements
You need an Android smartphone with a microphone and at least one Sonos speaker on your Wi-Fi network. HausFunk communicates directly with the speakers via the UPnP protocol — no Sonos account and no official Sonos API required. The app is compatible with S1 and S2 devices as long as they support UPnP.
Why HausFunk?
HausFunk is a personal hobby project. The idea is simple: if you already have Sonos speakers in multiple rooms, you essentially have a home intercom — all that's missing is the right app. That's exactly the gap HausFunk fills: simple, local, free, and no frills.
